Nushan Daryabeygi has practiced Medical Aesthetics since 1991. She is the founder of About Image Med Spa on Hunter Mill Road in Oakton, Virginia, and she performs the treatments herself rather than delegating them. If you book here, she is who you see.

## Credentials and licensing

What distinguishes Nushan Daryabeygi? No need to take it on trust, check it out.

Her license is current with the Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology and can be verified through the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation license lookup. Virginia licenses procedures rather than venues, which means the license, not the words on the door, determines what may lawfully be performed.

## CIDESCO International Diploma

**The CIDESCO Diploma is widely regarded as the highest level of professional certification in esthetics.** Founded in 1946, CIDESCO (Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie) is the international standard-setting body for esthetics and has established rigorous standards for professional education and practice worldwide.

The CIDESCO Diploma is a **prestigious, internationally recognized diploma in esthetics**, earned through comprehensive education and examination rather than simply awarded for attendance. As one of the few esthetics qualifications recognized across international borders, the CIDESCO Diploma represents an exceptional standard of professional knowledge, technical skill, and competency in the field of esthetics.

## ITEC Diploma, United Kingdom

**The ITEC Diploma is a globally recognized professional qualification in beauty and aesthetics, representing a rigorous standard of education and practical competency.** ITEC qualifications are earned through structured education and examination and are recognized internationally across the beauty and wellness professions.

The ITEC curriculum encompasses **skin care, body care, and electrolysis**, providing comprehensive training across multiple areas of professional esthetics. Relatively few practitioners in the United States hold an ITEC qualification, largely because it is traditionally earned through education and examination abroad, making it a distinctive and internationally respected credential in the U.S. esthetics industry.

## Thirty years of practice

### The Ritz-Carlton Spa

A defining chapter. She delivered advanced skincare treatments, facials, hair removal treatments and was responsible for quality assurance and spa operations. That combination of treatment work and operational responsibility is unusual, and it shows in how a course of treatment is planned here.

### Private practice abroad

She later relocated to Saudi Arabia, serving as a private Medical Aesthetician to members of the Royal Family. Over her career she has cared for clients including members of the United States First Family. Discretion is a professional habit formed in those rooms, and it carries over to every client who walks in.

## Treatments Available

The practice provides hair removal and skincare treatments that combine experience and advanced equipment.

- **CryoSculpting**, body contouring.

- **Electrolysis**, the only method the FDA recognizes as permanent, and the only option for grey, white, red and blonde hair

- **HydraFacial** and the **Hollywood Carbon Laser Peel**

- **Japanese Head Spa Scalp Treatment**

- **Laser hair removal**, which achieves permanent hair reduction.

- **Microneedling, , Microblading, Microdermabrasion and Dermaplaning**

- **Morpheus8 Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling**

- **PRX-T33 treatment**, the no-peel chemical peel.

- **The Perfect Derma™ Peel**, a medical-grade medium-depth peel.** **

### Why both hair removal methods matter

Offering laser and electrolysis under one roof is rare in Northern Virginia. The electrolysis specialists do not offer laser, and the laser clinics do not offer electrolysis, which means neither can answer the question most clients actually arrive with. Laser needs pigment in the hair to work at all. When your hair will not respond to it, you will be told so.

## Continuing education and memberships

Advanced training includes manual lymphatic drainage, oxygenating facials, post-laser care, hydrotherapy, Vichy treatments and aromatherapy, the last studied under Yves Tyl of the Dermal Institute.

She holds active membership in the American Electrolysis Association, the National Cosmetology Association, the CIDESCO Worldwide Association and the ITEC Association.
